BMES PTO still needs a fearless leader! Want to join the fun? Email Kristy for more information
Emma Graham, firstname.lastname@example.org
Once upon a time, Emma was an Art Teacher of at-risk youth, photographer of stuff and people, and performer of tribal fusion belly dance. Life chugged along and she was gifted a smart and spunky girl child (who is going into 2nd grade) and twins in the form of a strong-willed boy child and happy-go-lucky-until-she-doesn’t-get-what-she-wants girl child (both headed into Preschool). At that point, she became the ringmaster of the Graham Family Circus, a.k.a. a stay-at-home-parent. When not managing organized chaos, Emma enjoys yoga and aerial dance, leads her oldest daughter’s Girl Scout troop, voraciously devours books, organizes physical objects, listens to music, makes stuff, and pines for solid sleep. Emma is your go-to gal for information dissemination: the PTO website, PTO newsletter, and PTO social media. When you see her around, say hi- she’s not as mean as she looks!
Kristy Berger, email@example.com
I’m looking forward to working with the PTO board this year. I am hoping to meet man, y new faces and families along the way. I have a kindergartner and a 2nd grader this year at BMES, so I am slowly starting to understand how this whole elementary school stuff works. Before kids, I graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.B.A. in Finance. I worked in the corporate world for a bit, then entered the relaxing world of massage therapy, and then landed as a stay at home mom with my children. I support the OUR Center with my volunteer time, as well as HOPE for Longmont. I love sunshine, music, the color red, cooking, cheese, reading, art, yoga, camping, hiking, skiing, the Cubs, but mostly, being with my family. If you see me around, come say hi and introduce yourself. I will try to do the same!
